Minding the Data Gap
Do most facilities and operations teams really care about fragmented data?
A recent trip on the London Underground got me thinking about the growing “data gap” across increasingly complex facilities and whether most teams really want to take the leap to fix it.
When I speak to facilities and operations teams,
• They recognise the growing complexity
• They know siloed systems limit visibility
• They agree data should be better aligned
• They believe there’s more value to unlock

So the awareness is there.
But action? Less so.
Which makes me wonder…
Is this really a data gap?
Or is it more of an experience gap?
Because often, people don’t fully value something until they experience it first hand.
You don’t realise how powerful something is until you see it working, in context, solving real problems.
So how do we bridge that gap?
How do we make it easier for facilities and operations teams to experience what great looks like?
Would love to hear your thoughts
